(:Movie with DD:)

Last minute, met up with DD to catch a movie: "Quarantine"... I kinda hooked to this kind of movies. It gives me a mysterious and spooky feel when I watch it, and with lots of suspense(as in the storyline), make me feel more curious about what is gonna happen next, and the ending was kinda predictable too...

Our love is starting to blossom like a rose.

(:Singapore Arts Museum:)

I was feeling so lazy to meet up with Jon today, but in the end I still did. And we seriously walked. Jon was suppose to go for some job interview today but he didn't, and decided to go tomorrow instead.

After walking around, we walked to the Singapore Arts Museum to see Kenji rehearse his band performance(Admission fee is $10). As if I would bother to pay $10 to watch him and his band perform. At least, I had a free show of them rehearsing... Haha.. And jon insist me on playing "Bleeding Love" on the keyboard, which I did. And everyone was singing along lah! Felt so weird.. Haha...

(:Our story:)

I was awoken by "someone calling on my phone" and it was from camp, asking where am I. I was like: "I'm on leave. I've told DYS3 about it." And I just hung up, feeling damn pissed for interrupting my beauty sleep. And after which, I can't sleep properly. So I just decided to get prepared a bit earlier to meet up with Cheryl in school. As usual, using our laptops at our usual spot, and then to the lab. Met Chie Hui by accident at the same location again.. Haha... Then we had western for lunch at menso 2, and off we go to expo for the IT fair. Not many people as I expected, but it was still crowded.

After walking around, I went to watch a movie at PS.. Body of Lies. The movie is kinda like re-enacting what the world is currently happening, but in a totally different scene. You watch and you will know, haha... A bit draggy for me though until I wanna zzz... Or maybe I was just tired, haha...

This is our story, and it has just begun. :)

(:My New Omnia Phone:)

Went to PS to shop for my Omnia phone at the Singtel shop. 2 of the other Samsung phones caught my attention, which is mainly because both has 8MP camera. But apparently, both phones are just a normal camera phone. But it was still a tough decision to make. But eventually I still chose Omnia. And apparently, they have run out of stock for the 16GB Black. So I have to collect it tomorrow instead. After the transaction, headed to Kopitiam for dinner, and then home.

(:iPhone vs Omnia:)

I'm gonna change my number soon. At the same time, gonna get a new phone as well.

At first, I was in a dilemma on whether to get the iPhone or the Omnia because I thought both of them fair equally well. But after doing a lot of research online, I think I have already made my choice. Let me tell you pros and cons on the Omnia and iPhone respectively. (These facts are based on my research on the Internet, so if any information is wrong, pardon me.)

1. MMS

The iPhone can't send a god-damn MMS?? Okay, I admit that I don't really use MMS(I only sent a few MMSes on my w850i Sony Ericsson phone for the past 2 years). But MMS can be a basic necessity, and convenient for some people on the go.

2. Bluetooth

The bluetooth on the iPhone can be used for wireless headsets and nothing else! You can't use the bluetooth for bluetooth wireless Internet connection, and you can't use the bluetooth for file transfers! This is the most maddening part. So I have to go through the trouble of sending an email to the person, which is just next to me that just wants a photo from my 2MP camera iPhone? I find it VERY ridiculous.

3. Camera

This is the most-discussed feature. Apple has been producing very good and hi-tech products over the years. But for the iPhone, it has only a 2MP camera??? That puts Apple to shame. Latest mobile phones nowadays are getting better MP for their cameras, but Apple doesn't wanna do that to their newest addition of the Apple family. Plus, the camera doesn't comes with a flash either. The next sad thing is that iPhone can't take videos as well, another minus point there.

4. Battery

As like any other Apple products, it is the same for the iPhone, a built-in battery. Let's take for example, when the iPhone battery has ran dry but you need to use it urgently for some reason and you are out in town shopping for your clothes, you can't help but feel helpless about yourself because you can't have an alternative power source to feed your iPhone. Whereas on the other hand, Omnia uses a detachable battery. I don't have to say what are the pros there is into it.

Now another important point which I took note of when my friend's ipod couldn't power on. He sent it to the service centre, and they diagnosed it as the battery problem, and the whole ipod has to be replaced. Is this gonna be the same for the iPhone, where I have to send the iPhone all the way to the service centre and get a new one just because of the battery problem? Not forgetting to mention the waiting period for your new iPhone to arrive. Nowadays, most people can't live without their mobile phone(including me). So am I suppose to get new temperary replacement for the moment while waiting for my brand new iPhone to arrive?

5. Cost

Last but not least, the cost for the phones. The cost of a seemingly hi-tech and cool iPhone cost so much more than a Omnia! Based on the overall features of the 2 phones, the Omnia definately should cost more than the iPhone, but that's not the case. In any case, 5 million iPhones have been sold worldwide in less than a year after it hit the shelves last summer. I think it's human nature, you know. It's like people are going for brands, e.g. Prada, LV, etc... If you ever notice, most of the Mac books out there are priced higher than any other ordinary laptops. I myself don't really like the Mac books, or rather the Macintosh OS. I don't find it very user-friendly AT ALL! I still prefer my laptop with built-in Microsoft Windows OS.

This concludes my review for the both phones. And clearly, as you can see me bashing the iPhone, I definately prefer the Omnia.

(:Singapore Food Fair:)

Today was the CSSCOM 2nd anniversary and the celebration was held at Jurong East Sports Complex, which I was suppose to attend. But I was awaken by my phone alarm, too tired to get up, snoozing the alarm a few times before I decided to shut the alarm permanently. I was sleeping peacefully until superior called me, but I didn't wanna pick up. Instead, I sent him an sms bullshiting a story to him about why I cannot go. Not sure whether he will believe or not, but I don't give a fuck.. Haha...

So I met up with Cheryl at TP earlier and sat at the usual spot and using my lappy while she studies. Transferred the pictures and videos of my birthday to my lappy too. Upon leaving, Cheryl spotted Chie Hui when she walked pass us and called her. Haha... Such a coincidence! And we went to the Singapore Food Fair at Expo. At the entrance, someone suddenly tapped my shoulder, it was one of my younger aunties, along with her husband and family. Haha.. Another coincidence. Exchanged greetings then said goodbye. Not many people as I expected, and as Chie Hui said, the food stalls are not a lot, not to mention that some of the food doesn't meet to the minimal standards. After which, sat at 1 corner and talk cock, and left for home.

(:I teared:)

When the song "When You're Gone" by Avril played on my laptop, my eyes suddenly became teary and started rolling down my cheeks. The more songs I heard, i.e. "Because of You", "吻别", etc..., the more bitter I felt. I have no idea why, perhaps I have kept too many sad stuff to myself and not wanting to tell anyone about it. One day, I should just go to one corner and cry my guts out to feel better. That's my way of relieving myself, and erasing the sad emotions trapped inside me. I have not done it for a long time, maybe that's why.

(:Surprises:)

Being surprise means to meet a situation where you least expected it. Being surprised, depends on situation, may be a good or bad thing. But sometimes I think being surprised is mostly more on the bad stuffs. But then again, sometimes I think being surprised also has its own share of good stuffs too. So yeah, maybe being surprised is not a bad thing after all, or is it?

Seriously, I don't know what the fuck I am typing in the above paragraph. I'm just plain bored and wanted to blog, but I have no idea what to blog about and I just blog whatever came to my thoughts. So there you have it... A mentally unstable, or sane person writing this post. Ah... I think I'm going crazy. Maybe I'm already crazy-- for you to judge.

And why do you add me and decide not to chat with me later? Might as well delete me... Thank you very much.

(:Transport Hub West 2nd Anniversary:)

Took half day leave today cause I was SO lazy to go to work. Haha... Slacked at home the whole day, then reported at DXO, Esplanade for TPT Hub West 2nd Anniversary. A lot of people lah! Went in for awhile, talk cock, listened to the speeches, and left shortly after, to meet CW. Had dinner at BK, and then to MPH. Bought a book about Horoscopes Reading: 2009. I think I'm gonna go deeper and study about this topic. Actually, I'm kinda studying about this for few years already, but not so in-depth. But now, I think I wanna fully understand astrology and the spiritual realm, since I have a friend who deals with this stuff too. :)

(:Swissotel Equinox:)

After waking up in the chalet, I packed everything and left the chalet with Cheryl and Huiqing. We took a cab and I dropped them off first. Upon reaching home, I unpacked everything quickly and took a bath after that, changed and went out to meet Jon at the restaurant on the 70th floor. We had a international buffet at Swissotel Equinox, along with his mom and his mom's girlfriends. When I reached there, all of them were already partially drunk. Haha... They chose the Champagne Then I went to get my food and started eating. The food is EXTREMELY superb. From the fresh oysters to the roasted potatoes, it was splendidly delicious. Not forgetting to mention the desserts too-- cakes and pastries. Ohhhh... Jon's mom still suggested to wrap some into a tissue and bring home. Lol!
And something very funny happened. One of her girlfriends asked the waiter for some champagne, but I don't know what happened. She knocked her champagne-filled glass and the glass spun and splashed the champagne over her face. Jon and I laughed like mad... It was soooo funny!!! The last part was the funniest. After paying the bill and wanting to leave, Jon's mom stand up and her chair fall backwards. All of us laughed until cannot tahan. It was too funny already!!

After that, we went to City Link and Jon bought my Calvin Klein underwear for my birthday present. After which, we walked to Marina Square, and then to Suntec. Played in the arcade for awhile and left for home while Jon needs to go to church.

(:21st Birthday Chalet:)

Met up with Cheryl and Huiqing to go and buy the remaining stuff needed for the chalet, after which, we proceed to check in the chalet at Downtown East. The whole day was only the 3 of us, watching tv, chatting, etc. When it was turning dark, I decided to start the barbecue. Took quite awhile to start the fire though... After the fire started, we proceed to barbecue the food-- and eating at the same time. Haha... We stayed awake until around 1am+ for sm and Adian to come. And they start to barbecue and eat too. After that.. bedtime!!

Next morning, we had breakfast at Mac. After that, we went to Wild Wild Wet since we got the free tickets. Very fun :D
Finished playing, we went back chalet to bathe and get changed since I need to go to Habourfront to collect my birthday cake. After everything, the 3 of us took a train down to Habourfront to collect the cake, and returned to the chalet shortly. We started barbecuing when night starts to fall. Well, sm and Adian insist that they wanna start the barbecue, so I let them be. But the fire took more longer to get started than yesterday. But nonetheless, it was a success. Slowly, more friends came through the night. I have to entertain all of them, damn tiring... But it was fun and very funny, when we started to play cards. Lol!
Melissa needed to go because she doesn't wanna miss her last bus home, but Lisa was still not there yet. But luckily she arrived soon enough, and then the cutting of cake ceremony commenced. As expected, there was a sabotage. Oh well.. Haha... And slowly my friends went home. Roselle, Surou, Lisa and I chatted and talked alot of rubbish. After that, I walked Roselle and Surou out of the chalet since Lisa and her husband has a car. Upon reaching the bus stop, we realized the Night Rider service has not started yet. So we walked back to Mac to have a seat and chatted. After which, we walked back to the bus stop and waited for the bus. Finally, the bus came and we bid farewell. Upon reaching back to the chalet, I cleared most of the remaining stuff, took a bath and went to bed.

I am really happy that all that I invited could make it for my chalet. A big thank you and hugs to all of you!! It is such a memorable event.

And yes, I'm turning 21 in a few hours time. I feel so old suddenly v.v
