Today, I went to the airport, deciding to have Popeye for dinner with Mimi & Daudau. But after discussing, we decided to have it at The Flyer instead. After dinner, we walked to Marina Square's arcade and played for awhile. And then we decided to get drinks as we were thirsty, (and 7-eleven's drinks are way too expensive!). So we went to The Marketplace instead and bought the 3 for 85c distilled water. Lol... And headed home.
How do you feel after watching a movie? Does a movie affect you after you watched it? Every movie definitely will deliver a different emotion in you. What if the movie actually makes you as if you are a part in the movie? But what if... after watching the movie, you are actually reenacting every same move in the movie you have just watched? What if the main cast were to die in the movie? Will you try to do the opposite and twist the storyline of the movie? Will you ever succeed in doing it?
I met up with DD today to this movie, "Coming Soon". It features my favourite Thai Singer, Punch! If you have watched the previous movies(i.e Shutter, Alone, etc) by the same directors, I can say that this installation is a bit scarier than the previous ones, not to mention that it's gory too. Punch can act! And she looks cute in the movie. :D
P.S. I loved the last part of it. :P
"Just to be able to see you, hear you, touch you, I'm contented."
I met up with DD and gang to watch the movie "Hotel for Dogs".
There are these 2 siblings, whom are fostered, and had a dog of their own. But apparently, their home has a strict rule against animals. So most of the time, the dog spends its time outside, roaming free, and picking up scents (It has a very good sense of smell!). Shortly, the dog stumbled into an old hotel, and some of his friends-alike. Seemingly like a nice and comfortable place to stay, the siblings decided to make the old hotel its new home. With the help from a few staff from a local pet store, they help to clean up and revamp the whole building, doggish-style. But soon after, authorities came to know about it, and decided to implement some nasty actions against them, and the dogs. Time and again, they always place the dogs as the main priority, irregardless of the dangers they face themselves. But for how long can they prolong their menacing situation?
This movie is hilarious, yet touching. If you are not moved to tears, you are not human then!
"If you are the Panda, I'm your bamboo shoot."
Slacked and DotAed the whole day. After that, I met up with Mimi & Daudau at Cityhall, and had KFC for dinner. After having our dinner, we walked around Marina Square, and then to the IT show at Suntec-- Expected crowd. Anyway, we just went in and window shopped and left. We went to Carrefour and then to the arcade for awhile, and we all headed home.
"Pata pata pata pon!!"
I came to know about this movie when I was at the cinema. It is a new production by the same writers of "Shutter" and "Alone", and of course, I love both of the movies. "Coming Soon" is the name of the movie. And it stars my favorite Thai Singer, Punch. She has never entered the acting career before and this is her first movie she will be starring in, and it's a horror movie. I can't wait to see her act for the first time.
"Coming Soon" will be screening in Singapore on the 12 March 2009, Thursday. Be sure to catch it!! :)
I'm back from Taiwan!!
