After a tragic loss of their unborn child, devastated John and Kate struggles to accept their fate, and decided to adopt another child from an orphanage. Strangely, they are erratically drawn to this young girl named Esther. As the days go by in the family, Kate is starting to feel somewhat strange and skeptical about Esther, or is she just thinking too much due to her past? When obnoxious and ghastly things start to take place within the family, an accused Kate starts to realize what is going on. Now only she can help her beloved family to get out of this mess, and uncover the horrifying and shocking truth and secrets about this young girl, Esther. I met up with DD today and had dinner at PS Kopitiam. After that, we went to The Cathay to watch the movie "Orphan". The movie is kinda predictable, but the director seems to play around with the suspense a little bit, which kinda always puts you at the edge of your seat for nothing. Haha... The ending was hilarious, but I expected a better ending than what was written. After the movie, we headed to Grammaphone to look at some CDs, and then headed home.
