I went for an interview in the morning which took about an 1 hour. After that, I sent my laptop to Lenovo Service Centre at Bukit Timah Shopping Centre. I headed home to put some of my stuff, got my gym equipments and headed to Orchard California Fitness to meet up with Cat and Simon for work out. Finished working out, we went to Botak Jones to have an early dinner, western food. Wakaka... After dinner, we went to check out the timing for the movies, and then Cat and I took a bus down to Suntec while Simon headed to his friend's apartment for their Christmas celebration. We walked around Suntec while waiting for Marc as he is having a company dinner nearby. He arrived half an hour before the movie, I bought snacks and we headed in to watch Avatar. The movie is really nice and the effects is quite cool, not to mention that it's touching too! After the movie, we walked to Makansutra to have supper. Haha, and we all headed home after that. So tired!!
Jake Sully, a paralyzed ex-marine, is on a mission on a distant world of Pandora, where the native humanoid Na'vi inhabits . There he learns about a greedy plot by Parker Selfridge of driving off the Na'vi species in order to mine the land for the precious material. Colonel Quaritch offered Jake a deal by asking him to take on this mission, in return, the Colonel will make him walk again. By using a very advanced technology, Jake infiltrate the Na'vi by posing as one of them. Being treated like an outcast in his new founded world, Jake tries his best to fit in into the culture and language of the Na'vi people. But as Jake sets in with the people of Na'vi, he kind of feel the bonding getting stronger and stronger with them. He also starts to understand how the Na'vi people feels. Moreover, not long after, he quickly falls in love with the King's daughter of the tribe. As soon as the Colonel learns about this, he immediately orders his army to move out to the distant land, leaving Jake with only 2 choices; to side with the Humans or the Na'vi... Which will he choose?
