I woke up early today to witness the NS enlistment of my younger brother at Pulau Tekong. The weather there can really kill!! First, we were brought around the camp in a tour bus and the Sergeant introduced us the BMTC School 4 which my brother will be in. And then, we visited the bunks. Hmm, the bunks are smaller than the ones during my BMT, but it was all double-decker beds. After that, we went into the lecture room and the Lieutenant gave us a short introduction of the army equipments and items. Throughout the whole lecture, I just kept reminiscing of my 4 days 3 nights outfield(which was a nightmare!). After that, we went to the auditorium to watch a video of the life in army, etc... And then we witnessed the oath taking ceremony by the new recruits. Yeah, I kinda had a deja-vu.
It was lunch time and we all headed to the cook house for lunch. The food there is much better than my BMT camp!!! Oh well... After that, all the recruits fall in and that was the end of the whole event. During the whole event, it just keeps reminding me of my time when I first entered BMT too. Hmm... It's natural to feel that way, I guess... Brother drove us home and I lazed at home for awhile before meeting up with Joel and Joanne at Tampines mall. Zaini met up with me to pass me the money to buy the birthday cake for Johnny's birthday tomorrow. I still don't know what cake and how big should I buy. Headache... x.x
After collecting the money, we headed down to Tantric to buy the tickets for Johnny's friends, and then we went to Maxell market to meet Jiro. We sat down and had a chat, and so happen Henry wass passing by, so he also joined us. After Jiro finished his food, we all left. Tired.......
